KNIPEX Founded in 1882 by Carl Gustav Putsch, and since then become a world-leading manufacturer of pliers.
With 1,900 employees in German Wuppertal and 55,000 m² of production area, we produce 17 million pliers per year (± 67,000 pliers each day).
For 143 years, we have delivered high quality pliers for professional users that have improved their work.
Innovations like Alligator, Cobra, Cobolt, plier wrench, X-cut and Ergostrip are now used in more than 100 countries via worldwide distribution network.
For each tool function, we choose the best quality steel and treat it with precise heat and accurate finish.
