About us

Zaptec is a Nordic technology company developing smart charging solutions for electric vehicles. With roots in Norway and operations across several European markets, we build chargers and charging systems that make EV charging simple, safe and efficient, at home, at work and in larger shared installations.

Our solutions are designed for Nordic conditions and for everyday life where charging should simply work. They use available energy intelligently, adapt to both the vehicle and the building, and give users better control over their charging.

Zaptec Go is our compact home charger. It is compatible with all electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids, can deliver up to 22 kW depending on the vehicle and installation, and is easily managed through the Zaptec app. With Eco Mode, charging can be adapted to lower electricity prices, while Zaptec Sense helps protect the main fuse through dynamic load balancing.

Zaptec Go 2 is the next generation of our home charger. It builds on the same compact design, with added features such as MID-certified energy metering, an integrated display and smarter energy management. Zaptec Go 2 is also hardware-ready for future bidirectional charging through V2X.

Zaptec Pro is our charging solution for larger installations, such as housing associations, businesses, parking facilities and destination charging. The system is designed to scale from a few chargers to large installations with more than 1,000 charging points, using dynamic phase balancing and patented charging technology.

Through connected products, wireless updates and close collaboration with installers and partners, Zaptec helps more people charge their electric vehicles with confidence. Whether charging happens at a private home, in a housing association or at a commercial property, the goal is the same: to make EV charging simpler, smarter and ready for what comes next.
