A combination of features such as safety, reliability and independence. The device reduces installation and subsequent operating costs. The modular design allows the FZLV II system to be expanded to panels with a very large number of circuits, comparable to classic central battery systems. The central battery system is mainly used to minimize operating costs and to reduce problems associated with technical service. The units are always installed outside areas where there may be fire or other hazards. The central battery system operates in a completely secure IT network. For this reason, the installation is separate from the basic lighting installation. The central battery system allows two different ways of monitoring the emergency lighting – this system can monitor the current on specific terminal circuits or monitor and control each emergency luminaire separately. The FZLV II is an emergency lighting system in protection class III with the capacity to supply power to up to 160 emergency escape luminaires. Each of the luminaires connected to the system can operate independently of each other in different switching modes. The luminaires are supplied with a safe extra-low voltage of nominally 48 V via a two-core cable. Communication between the luminaires and the system takes place via the power supply cables, therefore no additional communication cables are required. Each luminaire (address module) has its own unique identifying address. The address is logically assigned in the system and can be assigned to the appropriate control. The programmable controller shows the current status of the system and its components on the touch screen. Using the touch screen, each luminaire can be assigned its own description and control.
