One of the most common causes of damage to electronic equipment in households, commercial properties, schools, industry, etc. is a break in the neutral conductor. If the phases are loaded asymmetrically, this results in a change in the neutral point, which in turn causes overvoltage. As a result, connected electronically controlled devices are often destroyed and, in the worst case, fires can occur.

Doepke has the solution: the new residual current devices (DFS) and residual current devices (DHS) protect electronic equipment against overvoltage caused by a lost neutral conductor.

The DFS 6 NU and DHS 6 NU monitor all three phases and the neutral conductor on the supply side. If a break in the neutral conductor is detected, the device trips – protecting, for example, routers, TVs, computers, induction hobs, heat pumps, smart home devices and electronic machine controls, etc.

The DHS 6 NUS offers extended protection. Using a sensor, it monitors not only the neutral conductor on the supply side but also the neutral busbar within the distribution center – providing more comprehensive property protection.
