HAKEL is a Czech manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience in electrical protection and insulation monitoring. Together with TuVal Group, HAKEL’s European-made solutions are now being made more accessible to customers across the Nordic market.
HAKEL develops and manufactures Surge Protection Devices (SPD) and Insulation Monitoring Devices (IMD) for applications ranging from commercial buildings and industrial automation to energy systems, photovoltaics, railway infrastructure and other critical electrical installations.
Our approach goes beyond protecting individual components. By combining coordinated surge protection with continuous insulation monitoring, HAKEL offers solutions that help protect electrical systems from incoming surges while identifying developing insulation faults before they result in equipment failure or unplanned downtime.

Surge protection ranges from T1 protection at the incoming supply through T2 and T3 protection closer to sensitive equipment, control systems and electronics. HAKEL’s insulation monitoring solutions add another layer of reliability by continuously monitoring isolated IT power systems in industrial, railway, medical and other demanding applications.
Through the partnership with TuVal Group, Nordic customers gain local access to HAKEL’s product portfolio, application expertise and technical support.
