New feature in GARO Entity User: Charge with solar power!

If you own a GARO Entity charging station and have solar panels, with or without battery storage, installed at your property, you can now charge your electric vehicle using locally generated renewable energy.

With the new “Charge with Solar” feature in the GARO Entity User app, it is easy to use your self-produced solar energy to power your EV directly from your rooftop solar installation. The feature is currently available free of charge for solar energy producers and can be activated quickly and easily in the app by the owner of the charging station.

The feature offers two charging modes:
1) Solar-only charging – charge your vehicle exclusively with electricity generated by your solar panels.
2) Solar-priority charging – charge primarily with solar energy, with electricity from the grid automatically supplementing when required.
